The goal with these renders was to create a small scene for the reclaimed Subway chair model that @nickpbaker designed on his Instagram account. I initially modelled the chair and refuse bin in Solidworks, I tried to keep the chair model as close to the original sketch as possible. Once I was happy I imported the models into Keyshot a set about building a small subway scene, adding some ground and wall tiles and a station sign. As the chair was built from reclaimed metal I wanted it to look used so I added some effects using the Keyshot material graph to give It a scuffed/scratched look. I was also conscious of the lighting in a subway station, I tried several different lighting environments eventually settling on two, I could not choose between the two so decided to do a couple of renders from different angles with each of the lighting environments.
