I recently took a small break from modelling to concentrate on my engineering course. After a break It can be hard to find inspiration/things to model at times so I went back to basics and decided this would be a good starting point, I keep this small torch in my backpack.

I haven't measured anything in a while (concentrating my efforts on reading engineering documents) so this was a good excuse to practice using callipers again, I also wanted to practice using the revolve feature more in Solidworks plus using some light material in Keyshot.

Anyway enough about that, here are the results, I have also uploaded a small explode & collapse animation I created in the animation section.

I have always wanted to model the inside of an electrical object, I combined some goals with this, playing around with lights, light on/off animation and modelling the insides. It was also good 3D rendering practice and more experience using callipers. Overall a fun little project
