This week I had the opportunity to run some further simulations using Solidworks, I have been looking forward to learning more about simulations and filling in some gaps in my knowledge.
An I beam was created using Solidworks, I added some points and fixtures to the beam, a 70000N.m force was then added on top of the points/beam.
70000N.m force applied to simple supported beam

70000N.m displacement results/visual

Another simulation, this time a force 50000N.m of force was added to the points/beam
50000N.m force applied to simple supported beam

50000N.m displacement results/visual
